Kristen Ko, RN, PHN, MS, FNP-BC, is a board certified family nurse practitioner and public health nurse. She currently works for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and focuses on meeting the healthcare needs of homeless Veterans.
The Diversity in Medicine (DIM) course, co-sponsored by the School of Medicine and OEOD, provides information to assist healthcare professionals and medical students maximize the quality of patient care in a diverse society. The course is open to faculty, staff, students, and community members.
